Alec Baldwin is known for his appearances in not only numerous movies but also in TV shows like 30 Rock and has also hosted Saturday Night Live for 13 times. Alec Baldwin academically had enrolled as a political science major at George Washington University and in future planed to got to the law school but somehow he decided other wise and took to acting. Alec Baldwin was also was awarded an Obie Award as Best Actor in 1991. In the 1992 revival of Tennessee Williams's A Streetcar Named Desire he has appeared and he received a Best Actor Tony nomination.

He's on the board of directors of The Creative Coalitio, People for the American Way, City Centre of New York and The Drama League of New York other than being associated with theaters and being a benefactor of the Bay Street Theatre Festival in Sag Harbor and the Circle Rep Theatre in New York.
Lastly he's also an ardent supporter of the Hudson Riverkeeper of Garrison, New York and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. He completed his undergraduate studies, and received a BFA degree in Drama in 1993. He was married to actress Kim Basinger on 23rd October 1995 and their first child was born in Los Angeles and Alec and Kim officially got divorced in Feb. 2002.
