Tim Allen

Tim Allen was born in Denver on 13th June in 1953 and he is the son of Martha Katherine, who was a well known social worker. The life of Tim Allen began in pathos when his father died in a motorcar accident. Tim Allen was one of the six children in the family. Tim Allen attended his school in Seaholm High School in Birmingham in Michigan and later completed his graduation from Western Michigan University.

The young life of Tim Allen had a lots of ups and downs as he was imprisoned for the use of cocaine while he was a student in the Michigan University. Nut he was bravely able to get rid of all the controversies and to begin a healthy life. Tim Allen began his acting career as a comedian which he took as his patent image throughout his life. He began performing regularly in the night club in Detroit. He soon became a celebrity in the city's comedy entertainment scene. Most of his performances included stand up appearances in late night shows.

His first break in the world of television entertainment was in the series titled as Home Improvement. In this series he played the role of a "Tool Man". A feather to his celebrity charisma was added when he acted in the famous movie called The Santa Claus. He also wrote a comedy book titled as Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man. This book was also a success because it proved to be the best selling book in North America. In 2000 Tim Allen became very popular by acting in the blockbuster Toy Story. The most interesting characteristics of Tim Allen's comedy are basically masculinity, relationships between male and female, hardware and tools, bringing up children in this age, etc.

What he writes in his first book is the most astonishing thing. He says that although he proves to be very competent in all the hardware services, yet he does not know anything about hardwares. It is only his curiosity and hobby that leads him to choose such a strange topic. Another popular book written by him is I'm Not Really Here, which strangely enough talks about his opinions on quantum philosophy, the ever talked about mid-life crisis in a male's life, and relationship between in males and their female counterparts. Tim Allen has been shown respect by dedicating a star in his name in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
