There's a popular cliché that proclaims, "Your Eyes are the window to your soul", but like most clichés how true. They have a unique beauty and bring forth the individuality of each face yet this beauty can be further enhanced with carefully applied make-up, so much so that you can go from soulful to sultry in a matter of minutes. It is very essential to get your Eye Make-up done correctly as there's a very thin line between trendy and trashy. While some trends will last forever, there are others that ae relegated even as we speak. |

So be in tune with the times and see what's ruling the roost this season as far as Eye Make-up is concerned.
Casual Eye Make-up For Day
The first thing you need to ascertain is that your Eyes are well hydrated, so apply some cream near the eye area. Invest in a good under eye concealer that suits your skin tone and will mask any bags or dark circles you may have. Unlike what is commonly believed, a concealer must never be applied under the foundation but over it. Next, use pastel colors and blend them generously on a round brush and apply all over the eyelid. The color should be soft so that the look is elegant and subtle for the day.
Apply a darker color just over the crease of the eyelid to give it the impression of opening up. Eyeliner is not essential during the day but if you must use it, apply it using a thin brush so that it gives a finer line that is more appropriate for a professional environment. Use mascara which gives volume to your eyelashes yet giving them a natural look. A matter of minutes and you are good to go.
Smoky Eye Make-Up For An Early Evening Look
Rushing off for a drink with friends after work? That would give you all of five minutes to go from the day look to the preppier evening look. Here's how to achieve a dazzling smoky look for an early evening out with the friends. Use a good kajal pencil over the eyelid to enhance the intensity. Use eyeliner but keep the line fine, as broadly lines eyes are outdated now. Use a slightly brighter eye shadow and blend upwards as you go. Stretch your eyelid so that you cover the entire portion effectively. Use color bit by bit and voila! You have sexy, smoky eyes in minutes.
Dazzling Eye Make-up For The Night
A night out in the town with the girls or a date with the drop dead gorgeous hunk from across the street, here's how you can let your eyes do the talking. Use a good base all over the eyelid preferably something shimmery in a soft color like lilac. Grab the palest color you can find and apply it right up to the brow bone. Instead of gently brushing your eyelid, hold the brush on to it so that the color stays on all night. Use an amethyst eyeliner to line the lashes. Blend the colors with your finger keeping them lighter near the brow bone and more intense just above the eyelashes. Use a bigger brush to add more color to the outer corners and use the same color under the lower lashes for a stellar look. Highlight the corner of the eye with very little shimmer. Sounds great doesn't it?
