When it comes to Make-up, the mantra is 'less is more. While Make-up does accentuate your best features and enhances your beauty, but mistake sin applying it can make you look like a drag queen. So invest some time and learn exactly how you should apply your Make-up to achieve a look that pleases you. The kind of make-up you wear depends very much on the occasion and your unique personality. to them. Works like a charm. Camouflaging in fact ends up drawing more attention. Choose your make-up carefully to avoid allergic reactions to your skin type.
The painting is only as good as the canvas, so make sure that your skin is moisturizes and lips are well balmed. If you have dark circles under your eye dab some white eye shadow under it before you apply foundation. Choose a powdered mineral foundation that suits your skin color. Not only will it feel light but also it won't clog your pores and make your skin look even healthier. Blend the foundation out particularly at the edges to even out the look. After applying the foundation if you still wish to mask any spots or dark circles, use a skin compatible concealer. Remember, don't overdo your foundation or you'll just end up looking like a Geisha.
Next comes the eye Make-up, keep it subtle and use pastel colors and avoid thick eyeliners because they are so outdated. Use a trio eye shadow in three colors. Apply the lightest shade just below the brow bone, and the medium shade all over the rest of the eyelid. Use your fingers to blend the shades where they meet and then apply the darkest shade in the crease of your eyelid and blend upwards to give your eye more depth. Apply some iridescent powder on the outer edges to give your eyes a shimmery look for a nigh out on the town. Invest in a good eyelash curler and apply mascara after curling your lashes to give them length. Make sure the mascara doesn't cling to your lashes.
When it comes to face make-up, the question is to blush or not to blush? If you wish to draw attention to your eye make-up and have healthy, natural skin then you can skip the blush altogether for that nude look. However, blush can add another dimension to your make-up. Take two compatible shades, and apply the lighter one on your cheeks and the darker one in the hollow of your cheeks and then blend, blend, blend. Face make-up is all about blending and evening out the edges.
The lips again are filled in according to the look you are trying to achieve. If you want your face to look slimmer, make sure your lower lip looks fuller. Using a lip liner will make your lips look narrow. If you want shape and definition, the lip liner is a must. Fill with a natural, pastel colored lipstick in matte finish for a casual look. For the glam babe look, apply gloss over it so that your lips shimmer and look full. Follow these simple tips and you are good to go.
