These arrangements can be used as ideal centerpieces for a special gathering for dining table. We here give you the steps for preparing a simple fruit flower arrangement, which can be prepared by combining both the fragrance of the flowers and the freshness of the fruits.
For the arrangement, you require any semi-solid fruit or vegetable like a melon, knife, 2 plastic cups, which should be placed one inside the other for providing double strength., small plate, spoon, sweet peas and Ranunculuses.
For preparing the container of the arrangement
Cut off the slice of the bottom of the melon with the knife, so that it can stand upright.
Now place the melon on the plate, with its slices side down. Now take the two cups placed one inside the other and keep it upside down on the top of the melon. Next mark the melon by running the knife around the edge of the cup. Use this marking as a guide to cut straight into the melon for creating a cylindrical hole for the cup.
Scoop out the seeds and the flesh of the melon with the help of the spoon and discard them.
Now fill the cup with 2/3rd of water and place it inside the hole. Take care that the water should not get trapped between the melon and the cup as water can rot the melon quickly. Press the cup until it fits firmly.
For arranging the flowers
Take the sweet peas and place it in the container as prepared above. Now take ranunculuses and place them in little clumps around the outside of the bunch of peas.
Now measure the stems of the flowers against the melon to ensure that the flowers will sit directly against the top of the melon
