fish or meat, side dish mainly comprising vegetables, "miso soup" and pickled vegetables. In Japanese culture "chopsticks" are used for eating.
"Sushi" is a significant food of the Japanese people. There are mainly two varieties of Sushi-s, "nigiri-zushi" and "norimaki". The "nigiri" type has slices of raw or cooked fish on sushi rice. "Norimaki" has pieces of fish or vegetables rolled with rice in "nori", which is dried seaweed. "Nigiri-zushi" might look simple in appearance, but it is very difficult to cook at home. There are other kinds of sushi-s that can be prepared at home like the "chirashi-zushi". This is an authentic Japanese Food which can augment the splendor of the dining table.
All we need is vinegar, salt, sugar and rice. Dissolve the sugar and salt in the vinegar. Cook the rice while dissolving the sugar and salt. After the rice is cooked, add the fluid mixture till it tastes sharp and tart. Then we need several soft fried omelets. Chop the omelets into thin slices. We even need to boil mushrooms, beans and shrimps with salt. Slice the "nori", "kamaboko" (fish cakes) and add "ikura" (salmon caviar). Spread the sushi rice thickly on a plate, spread on top nori, egg slices, mushrooms, shrimps, kamaboko and ikura and sushi is ready to be served. What else do you need to win the heart of your loved one's?
