Bride's Father's Speech
During the occasion of wedding the bride's father is called upon by the best man to give a short speech in regard to the good health and happiness of the bride and the groom. Prior to the speech he would give a warm welcome to the groom's family and would proceed on to relate a short note about his daughter. The Bride's father speech is often times filled with an emotional farewell to a beautiful daughter who has been the apple of the father's eye for so many years. Some humorous anecdote about the bride in her younger years can provide a nice way to break the moment for those fathers who are not comfortable showing their tears at this time.
Bridegroom's Speech
In this speech the bridegroom would take all necessary efforts to thank his parents, under whose guidance he had been able to become what he is today. He would also thank them for their wishes in regard to the prosperous life of the bride and the groom. Then he would also take the opportunity on behalf of his wife and himself to thank all those present for their gifts. He would then proceed on to appreciate the efforts of the flower girls by simply thanking them or to by giving them small gifts.
Best Man's Speech
The Best Man's speech should always be packed with a sense of wit and humour. It should not be a very formal speech and at the same time not entirely casual. He should make sincere efforts to respond in this toast on behalf of the bridesmaids and it should also be the high spot of reception. Somtimes a best man will put a story or joke in to his toast which may seem funny to himself or his peers but remembering the grrom and extended family discretion will prove to be valuable during the best man's toast.
