Bachelor's Party
The bachelor dinner or party is one of the most common party options and has long held a reputation as the last chance for the groom and his attendants to release their pre-wedding jitters. The dinner may be hosted by the groom's friends or by the groom himself, in much the same way the bride hosts the bridesmaid luncheon. It is the perfect time for him to pass out gifts of appreciation to his best man, ushers and groomsmen. Immediately following dinner, the groom proposes a champagne toast to his bride, as she is not in attendance.
Bachelorette Party
Many times
The bride will gather with her friends on the evening before the wedding, or maybe 2 nights before, to have a bachelorette party whicle the men are attedning the bachelor party. This is an excellent opportunity for the married and unmarried friends of the bride to get together and discuss all the benefits of married life. Of course there will be some jokes and warnings as well from friends so that the bride is certain to go into her marriage ready for the good times and the bad that undoubtedly lie ahead.
Kitchen Bridal Shower Party
Instead of going for just an ordinary bridal shower, the bride along with other bridesmaids can plan for a Kitchen Shower which would be a delicious way to make her day. The theme can be carried out by making some preparations to cook at the shower and would be the yummiest party and one that no one will soon forget. A beautiful, expansive kitchen and would be required to accommodate all the guests. A chef from a nearby cooking school can be hired to come in and take a cooking class. To quench one's thirst one can slave away in the kitchen, to serve margaritas or other soft drinks. Everyone at last would receive copies of the recipes to take home.
