traditional i.e. scary or ghostly but wary from cartoon characters to funny Halloween costumes, historical characters, famous celebrities, flowers and animals; there is no end to the list. But if you want to look cool then some of the cool Halloween costumes are:
The American Tourist
American tourists are world famous for being the coolest tourists. So dressing up in loud cool Hawaii shirt, knee length shorts (only if its not so cold!), cool goggles and a large straw hat. You can also hang a camera around your neck to complete a tourist look. Guys can also carry a backpack for their treats. For girls, a bright loud dress, flat shoes or slippers, big sun hat and a straw bag. A couple of rolled of maps hanging out from the bag and a bewildered look of being lost would make a great Halloween dress up.
Freak
This is the easiest to look like, a freak! Dress up like abnormal, hippie, wildly excited person, so just dye your hair in a different wacky color and make a lot of mini ponytails or plaits, if u have long hair or tie them in a messy bun. Then deck yourself with lots of make-up like girls can wear a black lipstick and fake body piercing. Baggy jeans that is either ripped off a bit or have something funky written and a similar shirt (maybe with one sleeve torn off), any kind of footwear that has flames on them and cool jewelry makes a great finishing touch to the freak look.
Punk Rock Star
So you want to look like your dad from the punk era? This is how you can do and remember you always have the option to be creative! Take an old white T-shirt that is ripped off with cuts and tears and then do something with spray paints on it. A girl can wear black tank top or a hoodie or a t-shirt tied up in a knot on the waist. Frizz your hair a bit or make a high ponytail, or braids. For lowers, a ripped pair of jeans that say rock star on them works great and girls can wear a plaid mini skirt with ripped black fishnet tights. A lot of dark makeup preferably black and spike jewelry must be there. You can wear army boots, or black high top sneakers or old run-out shoes. This punk look is the coolest Halloween costume idea that works everytime!
