2 large onions, sliced
2 large lemons, peeled and thinly sliced
2 cups port

As the brisket becomes tender, uncover the tray and put it back into the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Raise the temperature to 450 degree F. this will make it slightly brown. Then remove brisket from the pan. Skim off the fat from the pan liquid and put it into a sauce pan. Boil the juices and vegetables and keep on stirring while boiling. When the mixture is thick, reduce heat to medium and keep on stirring for about 20 minutes. Now add salt to taste. Spoon marmalade on brisket and serve hot.
