Bee Gees saw life as a passionate and immensely emotional exercise of human connection. And Bee Gees Greatest emanates those emotions. Bee Gees hit the musical scene with four albums "Bee Gees First", "Horizontal", "Idea" and "Odessa". The albums included a host of hit singles like 1941 New York Mining Disaster, |

Massachusetts and Words. Thereafter they ventured into conceptual works like the double-LP "Odessa" and even took a country-flavored turn in "Life in a Tin Can."
Following a temporary breakup, the Bee Gees came back with a bang in the Seventies with another streak of pop hits like "Lonely Days" and "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart". The mid-Seventies found Bee Gees dwelling on more R&B inspired groovy music which later became an international phenomenon. Bee Gees, for anyone born in the seventies or afterwards, were kings of disco. The trio with the falsetto voices, nylon jump suits and blown-dry hair gifted the world some of the era classics "Night Fever", "Staying Alive", "Jive Talkin'" and "You Should Be Dancing."
Regardless of trends, Bee Gees have displayed an outstanding ability to adapt to the changing landscape of pop music. And it is evident in their collaboration with some of their favorite singers; the Bee Gees wrote and produced Barbra Streisand's "Woman In Love"; Diana Ross' "Chain Reaction"; Dionne Warwick's "Heartbreaker" and Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers' "Islands In the Stream". By the end of the 1980's, the Bee Gees were back to their place on centre stage with hit singles "Ordinary Lives", "One" and "You Win Again".
After a successful stint with writing and producing, Bee Gees released their album E.S.P. in 1987 with the charttopper single "You Win Again".With their ability to create a song and their genius in adopting others' musical styles to their own sensibility the Bee Gees still remain the ultimate touchstones of the musical community.
