They had their celebrations according the lunar calendar. But 500 years before the birth of Christ New Year was celebrated on 1st January but it was constantly changed by different emperors in the later stages.

. Four decades before Christ birth ultimately it was Julius Caesar who fixed the date of on 1st January. The celebration of New Year in U.S.A. and U.K. started about 400 years ago. Initially the priests protested against the Celebration but gradually they were persuaded by the common mass.
As the celebrations are an integral part of the New Year event so now let's have a look at the various ways by which we can organize the celebrations of the New Year.
- First of all we must decide how we want to celebrate, whether we should stay at home and arrange a party or we should go out to celebrate.
- But in deciding where we would be actually celebrating we should be a bit honest with ourselves, like if we want to stay back at home instead of going out to clubs or restaurants we must then listen to our hearts and stick on to a simple programme.
- If we plan to stay back home and have our celebrations then we can just arrange for a party including our close friends and relatives and add some spark to it by some simple decorations and light snack.
- We can also check out the special arrangements and menu some local club or restaurant which they have organized for the New Year celebration and then reserve table from beforehand for the special occasion.
- By the use of internet or local newspaper we can check out the events, concerts or movies that would be released especially for the celebrations of New Year.
