A Unique Gift For Dad
dads have a keen interest in ties; especially when they are don't have to hang them around their necks. Make this unique gift for your dad and he would be more than pleased. Look for his six different ties that he doesn't wear anymore and make an 18-inch square pillow with them. Firstly, remove the ties' interfacing and trim each tie to a length of 20 inches. Also prune the ties from the width, allowing a 1/2-inch seam on both the sides. Now neatly sew the ties together. For the back of the pillow, cut a 19-inch square from either wool or felt. With the right sides facing each other, stitch ties and backing together using a sewing machine with a 1/2-inch seam allowance and leaving a 6-inch opening. Turn the right side out and stuff it with pillow form and close the opening with whipstitch. Isn't it a unique gift for your dad?
