It was under the aegis of soul less Claudius II, Saint Valentine held up his dissent against the pitiful practice of nullifying marriages and engagements. It was Saint Valentine, who disregarded the laws of Claudius II.

Saint Valentine took clandestine measures to establish the institution of marriage. This act leads to his death by execution. He died on the popular 14th day of February around 270. Though he died, his measures became immortal. Love can never die. It lives and grows to be recognized. Saint Valentine has been immortalized in our heart of hearts. It is for him that we celebrate love and happiness on the very day of his death.
